We believe aesthetic medicine should feel considered, refined and deeply personal. Our nurse-led clinic offers evidence based treatments with a strong focus on skin health, long term wellbeing and a conservative treatment philosophy, because we believe the best outcomes are those that support you, not define you.

COSMETIC AESTHETIC CONSULTATIONS

A one-on-one appointment with a Registered Nurse to discuss your concerns, health history, and clinical options. Areas covered may include lines and wrinkles, volume changes, skin texture, facial balance, lip appearance, jaw tension, shoulder tightness, or hyperhidrosis. This is the required first step before any treatment is discussed or recommended. There is no obligation to proceed.

Dynamic Wrinkles
Lines and creases caused by repeated muscle movement, such as frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet.
Static Wrinkles and Fine Lines
Lines visible at rest due to skin ageing and loss of elasticity.
Volume Loss
Areas of the face that have lost fullness over time, including the cheeks and lips.
Facial Contouring or Harmonisation
Concerns about facial balance, proportion, or the definition of features such as the jawline or chin.
Lip Consultation
Concerns about lip fullness, definition, or overall facial harmony.
Skin Texture and Hydration
Concerns about skin texture, tone, hydration, or loss of elasticity.
Tense Shoulder / Trapezius Consultation
Tightness and tension through the neck and shoulders caused by stress, posture, or muscle overuse, often felt across the trapezius.
Hyperhidrosis Consultation
Excessive, uncontrollable sweating not related to heat or exercise, commonly affecting the underarms, palms, soles, or face.
TMJ (Jaw Tension) Consultation
Tightness, soreness, or overactivity in the jaw muscles caused by clenching or grinding, often felt in the jaw, temples, and surrounding area.
A thorough discussion of your health history, current medications, previous treatments, skin concerns and goals. Your registered nurse provider will outline which options may or may not be clinically appropriate for you, including relevant risks and alternatives. Written information is provided to take away. No treatment is performed at a consultation appointment unless full assessment and informed consent have been completed.
Consultations are available to all adults. Treatment suitability following consultation is assessed individually based on health history, medications and clinical presentation.
No treatment is performed at a consultation appointment. Risks associated with any treatments discussed are outlined in full at consultation and provided in writing.

PRP SKIN And HAIR RESTORATION

A regenerative treatment using a preparation derived from your own blood, introduced into targeted areas to support tissue health. At Discreet Aesthetics, PRP is offered for two applications: scalp treatment to address hair thinning and support scalp health, and skin treatment to support skin quality and texture. As a higher-risk cosmetic procedure, PRP is only offered following thorough clinical consultation and individual assessment.

PRP is not appropriate for all types or causes of hair thinning or skin concerns. Consultation assesses the nature and pattern of the concern, contributing health factors, medical history, and individual goals. Further investigation may be recommended before a treatment plan is developed. As a higher-risk cosmetic procedure, suitability for both hair and skin applications is individually assessed before any treatment is recommended.
A small amount of blood is drawn and processed to separate the plasma. The preparation is then introduced into the targeted area — the scalp or skin — using fine needles. The appointment takes approximately 60 to 90 minutes including preparation time. Some redness, tenderness, or mild swelling at the treatment site is normal and generally settles within a few days. Multiple sessions may be recommended depending on individual assessment. Results vary between individuals and are discussed in detail at consultation.
Not appropriate for individuals with certain blood conditions or clotting disorders, active infection at the treatment site, or those on certain medications including anti-inflammatory medications. Not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding. May not be suitable for certain types or stages of hair thinning or skin concerns. Suitability for both hair and skin applications is assessed at consultation.
As a higher-risk cosmetic procedure, risks are discussed in full at consultation and provided in writing prior to treatment. Side effects may include temporary tenderness, swelling, and sensitivity at the treatment site. In rare cases, bruising or an unexpected response at the injection site may occur. Risks apply to both hair and skin applications and vary depending on individual presentation.
An initial course of three to four sessions is commonly recommended, typically spaced four to six weeks apart. Changes may begin to become evident over a period of months following commencement of treatment. Maintenance sessions are generally recommended every three to six months thereafter to support ongoing clinical outcomes. Individual response varies significantly and treatment frequency is determined at consultation based on individual clinical presentation.

MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling is a skin treatment using a medical-grade device to create controlled micro-channels in the skin surface. At Discreet Aesthetics it is offered for the face, neck, décolletage, hands and areas of acne scarring.

Microneedling is a higher-risk cosmetic procedure performed only following thorough clinical consultation to assess individual suitability. All treatment information, risks and clinical considerations are provided in writing prior to any procedure proceeding.

Microneedling is a higher-risk cosmetic procedure not appropriate for all individuals or skin presentations. Skin condition, medical history, current medications and contraindications are assessed prior to treatment. Treatment depth and protocol are determined individually at consultation. Not all individuals presenting to the clinic will be assessed as suitable candidates.
A topical anaesthetic is applied prior to treatment. The device is passed over the treatment area in a controlled manner. Appointment duration varies depending on the area treated. Temporary redness and skin sensitivity are expected following the procedure and form part of the normal skin response. Individual response varies.
Not appropriate for individuals with active skin infection, open wounds or active acne lesions in the treatment area, certain skin conditions, those on medications affecting skin healing, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Suitability is assessed in full at consultation.
As a higher-risk cosmetic procedure, risks are discussed at consultation and provided in writing prior to treatment. Side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, skin sensitivity and bruising. In rare cases, infection, post-inflammatory pigmentation changes or an unexpected skin response may occur.

SKIN REJUVENATION TREATMENTS

Plasma and Fibroblast skin treatment is offered at Discreet Aesthetics as a clinically assessed option for skin health. As a higher-risk cosmetic procedure, suitability is determined at consultation based on individual presentation and health history.

Plasma and Fibroblast treatment are higher-risk cosmetic procedures requiring individual clinical assessment before proceeding. Medical history, skin type, skin tone, current health status and medications are all considered. Plasma and fibroblast treatment carries specific considerations around skin tone and scarring history. Not all individuals will be assessed as suitable for treatment.
A topical anaesthetic is applied prior to the procedure. The plasma device delivers controlled energy to targeted points on the skin surface. Small carbon crusts form as part of the normal healing response and resolve over a number of days. A period of downtime is required and outlined at consultation.
Individual response to treatment varies.
Not appropriate for individuals with medium to darker skin tones, those prone to keloid scarring, active skin infection in the treatment area, certain medical conditions, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Suitability for treatment is assessed thoroughly at consultation.
Swelling, redness, crusting and skin sensitivity during the healing period. Risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation changes, particularly in medium to darker skin tones. In rare cases, scarring or unexpected skin response.
A single session is appropriate for many treatment areas. The healing process develops over several weeks, with further changes becoming evident over the following months. Where repeat sessions are clinically indicated, a minimum healing period of eight to twelve weeks between sessions is required. Individual response and suitability for repeat treatment are assessed at a follow-up appointment.

WOMEN'S HEALTH CONSULTATIONS

Discreet Aesthetics offers dedicated women's health consultations covering perimenopause, menopause, hormonal shifts and weight management. Appointments provide a private, clinically informed space to discuss skin, hair, body composition and broader health changes associated with these transitions.

Appointments cover individual concerns, relevant clinical history and appropriate treatment or management options. No treatment is recommended without prior discussion of risks and alternatives.

Consultations may cover skin changes, hair thinning, scalp concerns, weight management and other health considerations associated with hormonal change. Where treatment options are discussed, full information about risks, alternatives and clinical considerations is provided. Referral to a medical practitioner or specialist may be recommended in some cases. There is no obligation to proceed with any treatment.
A thorough discussion of your health history, current concerns, relevant symptoms and goals. Leanda will ask relevant clinical questions and outline what options may or may not be appropriate for your individual circumstances. Written information about any options discussed is provided following your appointment.
Consultations are available to all individuals seeking information about weight management, hormonal health and related concerns. Suitability for any specific treatments discussed is assessed individually based on full clinical history.

COSMETIC AND PARAMEDICAL TATTOOING

Cosmetic and paramedical tattooing services at Discreet Aesthetics are provided by registered nurse Sarah Peel, who operates within the clinic's collaborative clinical environment. Services include cosmetic brow tattooing, fine line tattooing, nipple and areola restoration, scar and stretch mark camouflage, pigment correction and scalp micropigmentation.

A consultation is required before any service is recommended or performed. Suitability is assessed on an individual basis.

All services begin with a consultation to assess individual suitability, discuss the specific treatment, review skin and health history, and ensure you are fully informed before proceeding. Not all services are appropriate for all individuals or skin presentations. Technique, pigment selection and treatment plan are determined individually at consultation.

A touch-up appointment is commonly recommended four to eight weeks following an initial session to assess healing and make any refinements. Longevity varies by individual, service and aftercare, and is discussed in full as part of your treatment plan.

I'm Leanda Blackwell, a Registered Nurse with over 16 years of clinical nursing experience and an extensive background in perioperative and plastic surgery nursing.

Working for more than a decade within surgical and plastic surgery environments gave me a thorough grounding in facial anatomy, sterile technique and patient safety, an understanding that directly informs how I approach aesthetic medicine today.

My clinical philosophy is centred on conservative, individually tailored care and long-term skin health. I have a particular clinical interest in regenerative aesthetics, PRP therapies and hair restoration, and I work closely with clients navigating skin and hormonal changes associated with ageing, perimenopause and menopause.

I believe aesthetic care should consider the whole person, not just isolated concerns. At Discreet Aesthetics I take the time to listen, educate and develop treatment plans that reflect individual goals, health history and clinical appropriateness.
